This standalone version implements core tafl movement, ordinary capture, custom centre/corner capture support, king escape, king capture, no-move loss, threefold repetition, shieldwall capture (a bracketed row of soldiers pinned against an edge), exit-fort victory (the king safe on the edge inside an unbreachable fort with a free move), and encirclement victory (attackers cutting all defenders off from every edge).
